Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vend Estates and the bookings you make through it. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

ABOUT US

Vend Estates operates a platform for booking short-stay accommodation in Zambia. We list properties, take bookings, collect payment and support guests and hosts through a stay.

YOUR ACCOUNT

You need an account to book. Give accurate details and keep them current — we use your email and phone number to confirm bookings and to reach you during a stay. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.

You must be 18 or over to make a booking.

BOOKINGS

A booking is confirmed when we have accepted it and received payment. Until then, dates are not held for you. The confirmation we send is the record of what you booked: dates, property, guests and price.

Prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha and include the taxes and fees listed at checkout. The total you are shown before you pay is the total you pay.

You may book only for the number of guests stated. Bringing more people than the booking allows may end the stay without a refund.

DURING A STAY

Check-in and check-out times, along with any house rules, are shown on the property listing and in your confirmation. Please treat the property and its neighbours with care.

You are responsible for damage caused during your stay beyond ordinary wear. We may ask you to cover the cost of repair or replacement.

We may end a stay early, without refund, where there is damage, unlawful activity, or behaviour that puts other people or the property at risk.

CANCELLATIONS

Each property carries one of three cancellation policies, shown on its listing before you book. The full terms are set out on our cancellation and refund policy page.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES, AND THEIR LIMITS

We take care to describe properties accurately and to keep the platform running, but we do not guarantee that a listing will be free of every error or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Where a property is unavailable through no fault of yours, we will offer a comparable alternative where we can, or refund you in full where we cannot.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

CHANGES

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects bookings you have already made, we will tell you. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
